JAIDAH AUTOMOTIVE HOSTS "DISCOVER AMERICA WITH CHEVROLET" IN PARTNERSHIP WITH US EMBASSY

DOHA, QATAR:

Jaidah Automotive, the exclusive dealer of Chevrolet in Qatar, yesterday hosted an afternoon of festivities in support of USA Week Qatar.

Discover America- USA Week Qatar , an inaugural celebration of American culture, commerce and friendship in Qatar was introduced last year on the 21st January 2015.The American Chamber of Commerce Qatar in partnership with the Embassy of the United States of America launched Discover America – Qatar, since then this week of festivities has become an annual event on the yearly calendar.

This year, the USA Week Qatar's dates were February 15th to 22nd 2016, to honour this annual week of celebrations, Jaidah Automotive hosted the event "Discover America with Chevrolet" The prestigious event which took place at the esteemed Qatar Racing Club was attended by H.E. Dana Shell Smith the US Ambassador, Fahad Bahzad, Chief Executive Officer at Qatar Racing Club, Khalid Samir, Director of Operations of Jaidah Automotive and several senior management from Jaidah Automotive.

Guests attended with their families to enjoy an array of activities that took place throughout the day including live music, dance performances, test drives on Chevrolet carlines as well as thrilling drift experiences.

The venue at Qatar Racing Club showcased the American spirit, with the US flag draped as decoration and guests presented with heartwarming American cuisine. Food vendors on the day included Burgery, Magnolia, California Tortilla and Coco Cola.
