Drag Racing driving and passenger experience with the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro

Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi – Yas Marina Circuit and Chevrolet Middle East are now providing adrenaline enthusiasts an array of brand new drag racing experiences at the venue in the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Featuring the most powerful Chevrolet Camaro SS, the experiences are sure to prove very popular with the public during the circuit’s regular ‘DriveYAS’ activity days, and the new partnership extension is testament to the brand’s popularity for visitors coming to drive on the iconic F1® Circuit.

With a 0 – 100km/h time of 4 seconds on the SS (automatic transmission), the all-new Chevrolet Camaro is loaded with performance technology. The Gen Six Camaro provides a faster, more nimble driving experience, enabled by an all-new, lighter architecture and a broader powertrain range. An all-new 3.6L V-6 with an SAE-certified 335 horsepower and the 6.2L V-8, which is SAE-certified at 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque (617 Nm) – for the most powerful Camaro SS ever.

Both residents and overseas visitors will now get the chance to get behind the wheel or be a passenger with one of Yas Marina Circuits expert drag racing instructors, where the Camaro will fly down the Circuit’s custom-built drag racing strip. Those taking part will get to smell the smoke of the tires and watch the sparks fly.

Continuing as part of DriveYAS, the Chevrolet Camaro experiences will take place at the circuit every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 5pm and Saturday from 1pm to 10pm people can arrive and drive the vehicles.
